Info for pilgrims arriving in @madrid11_en #wyd. Your pilgrim pass for #madrid11

Source: Madrid WYD site

We will inform you of your accommodation site during the month of July, if your group made you final payment before June 30th and has requested accomodation from the WYD organization. The group leader will receive an email with the name and address of the assigned accommodations (or the reference parish if dealing with a family.)

What do the pilgrims need for their accommodation site?
- A sleeping bag
- A mat
- Towel
- Bathing suit
- Sandals

All the pilgrims registered in modules with accommodations (A1, A2 and B1) or if you have informed the Organization of your accommodations, will receive their backpacks at their accommodation sites.

The pilgrims registered in the rest of the modules will pick up their backpacks and passes at the Information Centers located throughout the city. (You can link to Google Map with the points that you already know.)

In the backpacks you will find:

- A gospel
- A pilgrim’s book (so you can follow along in the liturgical ceremonies)
- The WYD guide (with the program and useful information for the WYD participants)
- The Liturgical and Cultural Agenda (with more than 300 cultural events & catechesis)
- The YouCat Catechism
- The WYD T-shirt
- A hat to shield you from the August sun
- A fan
- A rosary
- A map of the city of Madrid

Together with the backpack, you will also receive your Pilgrim’s Pass, that will identify you for the Organization and will give you free access to the cultural activities, the museums and the monuments of Madrid; as well as Transportation for WYD so you can move throughout the city during your stay in Madrid and your food vouchers (if called for according to your registration).
